When I finished reading "if you give me three days of light" in one breath, I was deeply shocked by Helen's spirit of constantly breaking through herself, climbing on the peak of knowledge and finally achieving success.
Helen is an unfortunate person. When she was 19 months old, her eyes, ears and mouth "failed". From then on, she became grumpy and eccentric. It was not until she met teacher Anne, 20, when she was five that everything changed slowly. Teacher Anne taught Helen to spell words over and over again, which gave Helen a desire for knowledge and kept moving forward in adversity. Finally, Helen was admitted to Harvard University, successfully obtained her bachelor's degree and published many works.
What makes Helen so good? One day, I had a whim and was ready to experience Helen's life. When I got up, I put on my socks with my eyes closed, but the socks were put on backwards. When I was dressing, I found every button in the wrong house. I closed my eyes and sandwiched a dish. Ah, it's so spicy. I found a ginger. When walking in the room, I either hit the wall or fell on my feet. Perhaps Helen's perseverance and never give up spirit supported her through the dark 87 years.
After reading this book, I can't calm down for a long time. As a healthy person, how happy we are! We can see the beautiful campus, hear the sound of books in the classroom and express our ideas freely. Shouldn't we cherish our current life and face every day with a positive attitude?
